Good for warming up the muscles that run along your spine.
Page Turns, Step-By-Step
This exercise is easy to do, and is a good way to warm up the muscles that run along your spine, which are often difficult to release. The only thing needed for this exercise is a place to lay down, where your arms can be fully extended to the side.
Step 1. Begin by laying on your right side, in a fetal position, with your arms stacked on top of each other at a 90 degree angle.
Step 2. Open your left arm across your body, to touch the floor on the other side.
Step 3. Hold this position for a few seconds, allowing the stretch along the diagonal of your left shoulder to your right knee to twist the spine.
Step 4. Repeat this 5-10 times on each side, until you have more mobility in your spine.
