Before your session at Kika Stretch Studios, you should always consult a medical professional to get permission. However, our coaches are very prepared for almost any injury, and will adjust your session to make it safe for your body.
No, never! Our trained stretch coaches will gently release any pain and tension from your body, and will never push you to the point that it hurts. The goal of your session is for you to remain relaxed and comfortable the entire time.
A Kika Stretch Session is 25, 45, or 60 minutes of fully assisted passive stretching, where one of our certified stretch coaches will gently stretch you from head to toe. It takes place in a private room, so you can comfortably relax and have your session tailored to your body’s needs.
Socks are required for your Kika Stretch Session, and we recommend comfortable clothes that will stretch with you. This can include typical gym clothes like sweatpants, shorts, leggings, tshirts, and anything else you feel you can relax in.
Whatever works for you! Some prefer it before their workout because it gets the blood flowing through their muscles, loosens them up, and gives them the range of motion they need to do their best. Others prefer it after because it relaxes them and relieves the tension from their sore muscles.
However often you’d like, and whatever fits into your schedule! We have found most of our success stories come from one session per week!
Yes! All of our instructors are certified from a variety of backgrounds such as physical therapy, massage therapy, or yoga instruction. Once hired, they are then trained rigorously in our proprietary Kika Stretch method to ensure that they are able to make your session relaxing while achieving results.
